(WARNER ROBINS, GA – 4/29/16) CAIR Georgia leaders visited the Islamic Center of Middle Georgia on Friday, marking the latest stop in a campaign to visit every single mosque in the state over the next year, insha Allah. Executive Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell and Board President Yusof Burke prayed and at dinner with community members before delivering a presentation about CAIR’s plans in Georgia.
CAIR Georgia is offering each mosque a variety of free support, including seminars on Writing an Islamic Will, Public Speaking for Youth and Adults, Knowing Your Legal Rights & Responsibilites, and Emergency Response Training. In addition, any Georgia Muslims who experience threats, harassment or other forms of discrimination can use CAIR-Georgia’s Anti-Discrimination Hotline by emailing [email protected]
