(ATLANTA, GA – 11/29/16) The Georgia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations today appeared on CNN International to discuss how Georgia Muslims are reacting to a spike in anti-Muslim hate speech since Election Day.

Among other things, CAIR-GA discussed with CNN a threatening letter sent to the Islamic Center of Savannah and other mosques across the country.
Although there is no reason for mosques to be afraid if they receive one of the letters, they should alert CAIR-GA as well as their local law enforcement agency, CAIR-GA Executive Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell has said.
Mitchell also spoke out about the subject with other media outlets, including NBC affiliate 11 Alive News.
