(12/17/16 – ARLINGTON, VA) The Georgia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations received the 2016 Chapter of the Year Award during CAIR’s 22nd annual banquet, which was held outside Washington, DC, on Dec. 17th.
CAIR-GA Executive Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell, who also served as emcee of the banquet, accepted the award alongside board member Emad Sabbah.
“We thank God for any positive work he has allowed us to do over the past year,” Mitchell said. “We also thank our colleauges, board members and volunteers for their support.”
