In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise and thanks belong to God, the Lord of the Worlds. May peace and prayers be upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , his family, and his companions.
Dear CAIR-Georgia Supporters,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, welcome to CAIR-Georgia's 10th Anniversary Gala. We are grateful that you have joined us to reflect on our chapter's first decade and to envision its future impact.
When CAIR-Georgia began formal operations in 2016, our community made a clear commitment: Georgia Muslims would have a staffed civil rights organization rooted in this state and committed to strengthening American Muslims here. Since then, CAIR-Georgia has become a public voice for Muslims throughout the state. We have built a legal team that takes on religious discrimination, established a full-time presence at the State Capitol, and expanded community education across Georgia.
While the numbers in this booklet show the reach of that work, each number begins with a person. Every request for legal support represents someone who needed advice, representation, or an advocate willing to stand beside them. Every policy result reflects the effort of community members who called legislators, sent emails, came to the Capitol, and testified in public.
The Board of Directors is grateful to the staff, donors, sponsors, community leaders, volunteers, and partner organizations who carried this work through ten demanding years. Your support has helped CAIR-Georgia grow into the institution our community needs.
May Allah reward you for helping protect the rights and dignity of Georgia Muslims.
